Paradise Dragona Booster Box Japanese SV7a | Latias ex

The Paradise Dragona booster box is a Japanese Pokémon TCG expansion from the Scarlet & Violet era, released in Japan on September 13, 2024. SV7a takes a dragon-focused approach, bringing together Pokémon such as Latias, Latios, Black Kyurem, Flygon and Archaludon, while continuing the Stellar Tera theme introduced in the preceding SV7 expansion. The set also features tropical-inspired artwork and a selection of Trainer cards connected with Dragon-type Pokémon.

For collectors interested in the original Japanese release, the official Pokémon Card Game website provides the broader Japanese TCG product and card database, while the Paradise Dragona card checklist provides a detailed breakdown of the SV7a card numbers and rarities.

A Dragon-Focused Japanese Pokémon Expansion

Paradise Dragona stands out from many Scarlet & Violet releases because its card selection is heavily centered around Dragon-type Pokémon.

The expansion includes Black Kyurem ex, Latias ex, Flygon ex and Archaludon ex, alongside Latios, Dialga, Palkia, Garchomp-related characters and other Pokémon that fit the set’s Dragon-oriented theme.

One of the most recognizable cards in the expansion is Latias ex, which receives a Special Art Rare version that has become one of the major collector targets from SV7a.

Latias ex and the Major Chase Cards

Latias ex is one of the standout Pokémon in Paradise Dragona. The Japanese checklist includes its regular ex version, a Super Rare version and a Special Art Rare version.

The higher-rarity lineup also includes:

• Latias ex SAR

• Archaludon ex SAR

• Alolan Exeggutor ex SAR

• Drayton SAR

• Lisia’s Appeal SAR

• Alolan Exeggutor ex UR

• Counter Gain UR

• Jet Energy UR

Collectors can also find Super Rare versions of Black Kyurem ex, Flygon ex, Archaludon ex and other Pokémon.

Alolan Exeggutor ex and Stellar Tera Pokémon

Paradise Dragona continues the Stellar Tera concept from the Scarlet & Violet era with Stellar Tera Alolan Exeggutor ex.

The card appears in multiple rarities, including a premium Special Art Rare and a gold Ultra Rare version. This gives collectors several different versions of the same Pokémon to pursue within the SV7a release.

30 Japanese Booster Packs

A sealed SV7a Paradise Dragona booster box contains:

• 30 Japanese booster packs

• 5 cards per pack

• 150 cards per box

The Japanese packs are randomly assembled, meaning a particular Latias ex, Alolan Exeggutor ex, SAR, SR or UR card is not guaranteed in an individual box.

Complete SV7a Collection

Paradise Dragona contains 64 numbered cards in its main set, followed by 30 additional high-rarity cards, bringing the commonly catalogued Japanese set total to 94 cards. The additional cards include Art Rare, Super Rare, Special Art Rare and Ultra Rare cards.

The Art Rare section includes Pokémon such as Exeggcute, Shiinotic, Castform, Bruxish, Cetitan, Latios, Vibrava, Clobbopus, Skarmory, Flapple, Appletun and Braviary.

This gives the set considerably more to collect than its headline Latias and Alolan Exeggutor cards.

Trainer Cards With Dragon Connections

The set also features Trainers including Drayton, Drasna and Lisia’s Appeal, with premium versions appearing among the higher rarities.

These cards complement the Dragon-focused theme and give Paradise Dragona additional appeal for collectors who enjoy completing Trainer galleries alongside Pokémon cards.

Japanese Pokémon TCG Release

This product is the original Japanese SV7a Paradise Dragona expansion, rather than an English-language booster box.

Paradise Dragona later contributed cards to the international Surging Sparks expansion, but this product retains the original Japanese SV7a set code, Japanese cards and Japanese packaging.

For collectors building a Japanese Scarlet & Violet collection, SV7a sits directly after Stellar Miracle and provides a different collecting experience through its Dragon-heavy card selection.

Product Specifications

Weight & Dimensions

I checked SV7a Paradise Dragona specifically, rather than using generic Pokémon booster-box measurements.

One specialist listing records:

Dimensions: 14 × 13.7 × 3.6 cm

Another SV7a-specific listing records 0.27 kg with the same 14 × 13.7 × 3.6 cm dimensions. The difference is likely due to the way individual sellers weigh packaged stock.

For your WooCommerce product, I recommend using:

Width: 13.7 cm
