Terastal Festival ex Booster Box Japanese SV8a | Eevee ex

The Terastal Festival ex booster box is a Japanese Pokémon TCG High Class Pack released on December 6, 2024. SV8a brings together popular Pokémon and reprints from the Scarlet & Violet era while introducing all nine Eeveelutions as Tera Pokémon ex. The official Pokémon Card Game page also highlights the special Stellar Tera Eevee ex and its unique Rainbow DNA Ability. View the official Pokémon Card Game SV8a information for the original Japanese product details.

Eevee and the Complete Eeveelution Lineup

The main attraction of Terastal Festival ex is undoubtedly Eevee and its evolutions.

SV8a features all nine Eeveelutions as Pokémon ex, including:

• Eevee ex

• Vaporeon ex

• Jolteon ex

• Flareon ex

• Espeon ex

• Umbreon ex

• Leafeon ex

• Glaceon ex

• Sylveon ex

The set gives collectors an opportunity to pursue premium versions of the complete Eeveelution family, with Special Art Rare cards forming one of the major attractions of the expansion.

Eevee ex and Stellar Tera

Eevee receives a particularly unusual treatment in SV8a as a Stellar Tera Pokémon ex.

Its Rainbow DNA Ability allows Stellar Tera Eevee ex to evolve into any of the nine Eeveelution ex cards, making it one of the more distinctive Eevee cards from the Scarlet & Violet era. The official Pokémon Card Game description specifically highlights this ability.

This makes Eevee ex more than simply a collector’s centerpiece; it also connects directly to the expansion’s Tera mechanics.

Premium Eeveelution Artwork

The Japanese SV8a booster box has an unusually strong lineup of Special Art Rare cards.

The SAR section includes:

• Leafeon ex

• Flareon ex

• Vaporeon ex

• Glaceon ex

• Jolteon ex

• Espeon ex

• Sylveon ex

• Umbreon ex

• Eevee ex

The complete checklist also includes additional SAR Pokémon such as Teal Mask Ogerpon ex, Iron Hands ex, Iron Crown ex, Roaring Moon ex, Raging Bolt ex and Terapagos ex.

For collectors interested in the complete card pool, the detailed Terastal Festival ex card checklist lists the numbered cards, secret rarities and major chase cards from SV8a.

Master Ball and Mirror Holofoil Cards

Terastal Festival ex also introduces a special collecting feature with Mirror Holofoil cards.

Certain cards can appear with Poké Ball or Master Ball patterned foil treatments, giving collectors another version of cards from the main numbered set to search for. This creates an additional collecting layer beyond the traditional ex and secret-rarity cards.

The Master Ball versions are especially interesting for collectors who enjoy completing parallel variants within Japanese Pokémon sets.

High-Class Pack Configuration

Unlike a standard Japanese booster box, Terastal Festival ex is a High Class Pack.

Each Japanese booster pack contains:

• 10 cards

• At least 1 Pokémon ex

A sealed booster box contains:

• 10 booster packs

• 100 cards total

The official Pokémon Card Game product page confirms the 10-card pack configuration and random card insertion.

Because this is a High Class Pack, the product has a different configuration from standard Japanese expansions such as SV7 and SV8.

The Chance of a Special “God Pack”

One of the reasons collectors are particularly interested in Terastal Festival ex is the possibility of an exceptionally rare pack containing a remarkable concentration of high-rarity cards.

Some packs can contain multiple Special Art Rare cards, with the most famous configuration featuring the complete set of nine Eeveelution SAR cards together. These packs are commonly referred to by collectors as God Packs.

A God Pack is extremely rare and is not guaranteed when purchasing a sealed booster box.

A Large Scarlet & Violet Collection

Terastal Festival ex is not simply an Eeveelution set.

The Japanese release contains 187 numbered cards in its main sequence, followed by additional secret-rarity cards. The complete catalog reaches 237 numbered cards, including 12 SR, 33 SAR and 5 UR cards.

Other notable Pokémon featured in the expansion include:

• Pikachu ex

• Terapagos ex

• Teal Mask Ogerpon ex

• Iron Leaves ex

• Walking Wake ex

• Raging Bolt ex

• Roaring Moon ex

• Dragapult ex

• Gholdengo ex

• Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex

• Pecharunt ex

This makes SV8a considerably broader than an Eeveelution-only expansion.

Japanese Pokémon TCG High Class Pack

This product is the original Japanese SV8a Terastal Festival ex release, with Japanese-language cards and authentic Japanese packaging.

The expansion was released in Japan on December 6, 2024, and serves as the Japanese source set for many cards associated internationally with Prismatic Evolutions.

For collectors, SV8a combines three major attractions in one product: Eeveelutions, Tera Pokémon ex and special Japanese foil variants.

Product Specifications

Weight & Dimensions

I checked SV8a specifically, rather than using the dimensions of a standard Pokémon booster box.

A product-specific SV8a listing gives:

Weight: 0.21 kg
Dimensions: 14 × 8 × 4.5 cm

For WooCommerce, use:

• Weight: 0.21 kg

• Length: 14 cm

• Width: 8 cm

• Height: 4.5 cm

Because packaging measurements can vary slightly between sellers, these are the SV8a-specific measurements I would use for your product listing, rather than copying the measurements from SV7 or SV8.

Why Collect Terastal Festival ex?
