Pokémon Shiny Treasure ex SV4a Japanese Booster Box | High Class
Price range: 98 $ through 2 ,100 $
The Pokémon SV4a Shiny Treasure ex Japanese Booster Box is a special Scarlet & Violet-era High Class Pack created for collectors who enjoy discovering Pokémon in their Shiny forms.
Released in Japan on December 1, 2023, Shiny Treasure ex revisits Pokémon from across the Scarlet & Violet generation and introduces a large collection of Shiny Pokémon cards alongside powerful Pokémon ex, Illustration Rares and Special Art Rares. The Japanese checklist contains 190 cards in the main set and 170 additional secret-numbered cards, reaching 360 numbered cards in total.
Among the biggest attractions are Shiny Charizard ex, Shiny Mew ex and Shiny Gardevoir ex, while collectors can also hunt for Special Art Rare versions of Mew ex, Gardevoir ex, Charizard ex and Iono.
This makes SV4a very different from a conventional Japanese expansion. Rather than introducing an entirely new card pool, Shiny Treasure ex brings together Pokémon and cards from the Scarlet & Violet era and gives many of them an entirely new collectible treatment.
✨ The Shiny Pokémon Collection
The main attraction is right there in the name: Shiny Treasure ex.
The set contains a large selection of Pokémon in their alternate Shiny colorations. These cards occupy a substantial part of the secret section, giving collectors numerous different Pokémon to chase beyond the headline ex cards.
Among the Shiny Pokémon collectors can encounter are:
-
Pikachu
-
Mimikyu
-
Charmander
-
Charmeleon
-
Drifloon
-
Riolu
-
Gardevoir
-
Lucario
-
Tinkaton
-
Ceruledge
-
Pawmi
-
Tandemaus
-
Maushold
-
Ditto
-
Pidgey
-
Greavard
-
Armarouge
-
Paldean Wooper
-
Paldean Clodsire
The Shiny treatment gives familiar Pokémon a completely different appearance and makes opening packs feel more like hunting individual collectibles than simply completing a conventional expansion.
🔥 Shiny Charizard ex
One of the biggest reasons collectors look for SV4a Shiny Treasure ex is Charizard ex.
The set contains Charizard ex in the regular card pool as well as a Shiny Secret Rare version at 331/190 and a separate Special Art Rare at 349/190.
That distinction is important because the two premium Charizard cards are not the same printing.
The 349/190 Charizard ex SAR is one of the major chase cards from the Japanese set and remains one of the most recognizable cards associated with Shiny Treasure ex. Current market listings continue to place it among the set’s leading singles.
🩵 Mew ex — One of the Biggest Chases
Another major attraction is Mew ex.
SV4a contains two premium versions of Mew ex:
327/190 — Shiny Secret Rare
and
347/190 — Special Art Rare.
The SAR version is particularly desirable, with its full-scene artwork making it one of the signature collector cards in the expansion. Current market data places Mew ex 347/190 at the top of the SV4a singles market.
This gives the box appeal beyond Shiny Pokémon alone: collectors have both Shiny cards and high-rarity Pokémon ex cards to pursue.
💗 Gardevoir ex
Gardevoir ex is another major Pokémon represented at multiple rarities.
The set includes its Shiny Secret Rare version at 328/190, followed by the Gardevoir ex SAR at 348/190.
The SAR is one of the standout artwork cards from the expansion and sits alongside Mew ex and Charizard ex as one of the principal Pokémon chase cards.
⚡ Iono Returns in SV4a
Trainer collectors also have something to chase.
Iono appears in the regular SV4a card pool and receives a Special Art Rare at 350/190.
One important detail for collectors: SV4a’s Iono SAR is different from the famous Iono SAR from SV2D Clay Burst.
The Clay Burst version is 096/071, while the Shiny Treasure ex version is 350/190. They are separate cards from separate Japanese sets.
That makes the SV4a Iono another distinct card for collectors building Japanese Trainer collections.
🎴 A Huge Secret-Rare Pool
SV4a is unusually large compared with the standard Japanese booster boxes you’ve been listing.
The Japanese release has:
190 main-set cards
plus
170 secret-numbered cards
for a total of:
360 numbered cards
The secret section includes several different rarity groups, including Shiny Rare, Shiny Super Rare, Art Rare, Super Rare, Special Art Rare and Ultra Rare cards.
The final six cards are gold Ultra Rare Pokémon ex:
-
Wo-Chien ex
-
Chi-Yu ex
-
Chien-Pao ex
-
Miraidon ex
-
Ting-Lu ex
-
Koraidon ex
These are numbered 355/190 through 360/190.
🎨 Illustration Rare Cards
The Art Rare section is smaller but still provides some memorable artwork.
The four Japanese SV4a AR cards are:
-
Wugtrio — 338/190
-
Palafin — 339/190
-
Pawmi — 340/190
-
Mimikyu — 341/190
Mimikyu is particularly recognizable among the four, while Pawmi and Palafin provide some lighter, character-focused artwork.
🇯🇵 ORIGINAL JAPANESE HIGH CLASS PACK
SV4a is not a normal Japanese 30-pack expansion.
It is a High Class Pack, which means the product has a different pack configuration and a much greater emphasis on reprints, Shiny Pokémon and premium pulls.
The Japanese release date was December 1, 2023.
The set later formed the Japanese source material for the international Paldean Fates era, although the Japanese and international products are not identical in configuration or card numbering.
For collectors specifically looking for Japanese Pokémon products, this listing is for the original SV4a Shiny Treasure ex release.
📦 WHAT’S INSIDE?
A sealed SV4a Shiny Treasure ex Japanese Booster Box contains:
10 booster packs
with:
10 cards per pack
for:
100 cards per sealed box
Because Shiny Treasure ex is a High Class Pack, its configuration is different from the 30-pack Japanese expansions such as SV3, SV3a, SV4K and SV4M.
The cards inside are randomly distributed, so Mew ex SAR, Charizard ex SAR, Iono SAR or a particular Shiny Pokémon is not guaranteed in an individual box.

Weight & dimensions: I would not copy the 14 × 13.7 × 3.6 cm / 320 g specification from the regular Japanese booster boxes onto this product. SV4a is a different High Class Pack configuration, so its packaging needs to be measured specifically from the physical SV4a box you are selling. I would rather leave those two fields pending than give Google inaccurate product specifications.
🏆 WHY COLLECT SHINY TREASURE EX?
SV4a has something that makes it stand apart from the regular Scarlet & Violet expansions: variety.
One box can lead to Shiny Pokémon, Pokémon ex, Illustration Rare artwork, Trainer cards, gold cards and Special Art Rare chase cards.
And unlike a set where one Pokémon dominates everything, Shiny Treasure ex gives collectors several major targets:
Mew ex SAR
Charizard ex SAR
Gardevoir ex SAR
Iono SAR
alongside a huge selection of Shiny Pokémon. Current market listings continue to identify Mew ex, Charizard ex and Gardevoir ex among the strongest cards from the set.
That makes a sealed SV4a box appealing whether the buyer plans to open packs, hunt Shiny Pokémon, chase premium cards or keep the Japanese High Class Pack sealed.
