The OP-01 Romance Dawn Booster Box is the first main booster expansion of the ONE PIECE CARD GAME, featuring characters and themes from across the One Piece universe. The official card database identifies ROMANCE DAWN [OP-01] as the set containing cards such as Roronoa Zoro, Monkey.D.Luffy, Kin’emon, Eustass “Captain” Kid and Yamato, alongside parallel versions and other rarities.

Official ONE PIECE CARD GAME: OP-01 ROMANCE DAWN card list

The First One Piece Card Game Booster Set

ROMANCE DAWN [OP-01] holds an important position in the One Piece Card Game because it is the original booster expansion from the game’s first product generation.

The set brings together characters from major One Piece storylines, including the Straw Hat Crew, Supernovas, Land of Wano, Marines and other groups represented throughout the card list.

For collectors, OP-01 is therefore more than another booster set: it represents the beginning of the modern One Piece trading card game.

Roronoa Zoro

One of the standout cards in OP-01 Romance Dawn is Roronoa Zoro OP01-001, the red/green Leader card.

The official database lists Zoro with 5 Life and 5,000 Power, with a Leader effect that can increase the power of Characters during your turn. The set also contains a parallel version of the Zoro Leader.

Zoro’s presence as one of the first OP-01 Leaders makes him particularly relevant to early One Piece Card Game collectors.

Monkey.D.Luffy

OP-01 also features Monkey.D.Luffy, including OP01-024, listed by the official card database as an SR Character.

The card has 3,000 Power and includes effects connected to DON!! cards and protection against certain attacks. A parallel version is also listed in the official OP-01 card database.

Luffy is naturally one of the most recognizable chase characters in the original expansion.

Shanks and the Red-Haired Pirates

Shanks is another important character associated with the original OP-01 expansion.

His presence adds another major One Piece character to a set already featuring Luffy, Zoro and numerous other iconic characters.

This broad character selection is one of the reasons Romance Dawn remains an important foundation set for One Piece collectors.

Yamato Secret Rare

OP-01 also contains Yamato OP01-121, listed by the official card database as a SEC — Secret Rare.

The database lists Yamato with 5 Cost, 5,000 Power and 1,000 Counter, with both the standard and parallel versions appearing in the OP-01 card pool.

The presence of Secret Rare cards gives sealed OP-01 boxes additional collector appeal.

Parallel Cards

The OP-01 Romance Dawn Booster Box is not limited to standard card versions.

The official card database identifies parallel versions for multiple cards, including the Roronoa Zoro Leader, Monkey.D.Luffy SR and Kin’emon SR.

These parallel cards provide additional chase cards for collectors opening Japanese OP-01 product.

Multiple One Piece Storylines

Rather than focusing on one specific arc, ROMANCE DAWN brings together characters from different parts of the One Piece universe.

The official card database shows cards associated with groups and themes including:

• Straw Hat Crew

• Supernovas

• Land of Wano

• The Akazaya Nine

• FILM

• Kouzuki Clan

• Various other One Piece affiliations

This gives the first expansion a broad representation of the series.

Japanese One Piece Card Game

This listing is for the Japanese version of OP-01 ROMANCE DAWN.

Japanese One Piece Card Game products are particularly attractive to collectors building Japanese-language collections or looking for original Japanese releases from the beginning of the game.

The official One Piece Card Game website maintains the OP-01 card database and identifies the cards under the ROMANCE DAWN [OP-01] expansion.

Official OP-01 Card Pool

The official database provides individual card information for the expansion, including card numbers, rarity, power, effects, character types and parallel versions.

Examples include:

OP01-001 — Roronoa Zoro — Leader

OP01-024 — Monkey.D.Luffy — SR

OP01-040 — Kin’emon — SR

OP01-051 — Eustass “Captain” Kid — SR

OP01-121 — Yamato — SEC

This makes OP-01 a strong product for collectors interested in the earliest One Piece Card Game card numbers and original parallel artwork.

A Foundation Set for One Piece Collectors

Because ROMANCE DAWN is the OP-01 expansion, sealed Japanese booster boxes have an important place in a One Piece Card Game collection.

Collectors can chase early versions of major characters while also preserving a sealed product from the beginning of the game’s booster-set history.

For sealed collectors, OP-01 Romance Dawn is therefore one of the foundational Japanese One Piece products.
