Munikis Zero Booster Box Japanese M3 | Mega Zygarde ex

The Munikis Zero booster box is the Japanese M3 expansion from the Pokémon Card Game MEGA series. Released in Japan on January 23, 2026, the set continues the modern return of Mega Evolution with Mega Zygarde ex as its headline Pokémon. Each Japanese booster pack contains 5 randomly inserted cards, making the sealed M3 display a product designed for both collectors and players.

Mega Zygarde ex Leads M3

The defining card of Munikis Zero is Mega Zygarde ex.

The official Pokémon Card Game describes Mega Zygarde ex as a powerful Mega Evolution Pokémon with 310 HP and two attacks. Its signature Munikis Zero attack allows a coin flip against each of your opponent’s Pokémon, dealing 150 damage to each Pokémon where the result is heads.

This distinctive attack is also where the Japanese expansion gets its name, giving M3 a strong identity within the Mega Evolution series.

Mega Starmie ex

Another major Mega Evolution featured in M3 is Mega Starmie ex.

The official card database lists Mega Starmie ex with 330 HP and two attacks. Its Jet Blow attack can also damage a Benched Pokémon, while Nebula Beam delivers 210 damage without applying Weakness, Resistance or effects on the opponent’s Active Pokémon.

The combination of classic Pokémon and modern Mega Evolution makes Mega Starmie one of the notable collector and gameplay cards from the expansion.

Mega Pixie ex Adds a Fairy-Type Favorite

M3 also introduces Mega Pixie ex, bringing the popular Clefairy evolution line into the modern Mega Evolution era.

Mega Pixie ex has 320 HP and the ability Radiant Wings, which prevents the Pokémon from being affected by the effects of opponents’ Abilities. Its Shooting Moon attack can increase its damage by discarding Energy from your hand.

This gives collectors another recognizable Pokémon to pursue beyond the headline Mega Zygarde ex.

More Mega Evolution Pokémon

Munikis Zero expands the Mega Evolution lineup with several Pokémon receiving new Mega Evolution ex cards.

Among the featured Pokémon are:

• Mega Zygarde ex

• Mega Starmie ex

• Mega Pixie ex

• Mega Skarmory ex

• Mega Decidueye ex

The official M3 expansion page also highlights new Mega Evolution Pokémon and showcases Mega Zygarde ex and Mega Starmie ex as major cards from the set.

A New Chapter of the Mega Era

M3 follows the first wave of modern Mega Evolution releases, including M1L Mega Brave, M1S Mega Symphonia, and M2 Inferno X.

With Munikis Zero, the MEGA series continues expanding its roster with new Mega Pokémon and cards designed around their individual abilities and attacks.

For collectors building a complete Japanese Mega Evolution sealed collection, M3 is an important continuation of the series.

Pokémon From Multiple Generations

Munikis Zero isn’t limited to one Pokémon generation.

The expansion combines newly introduced Mega Pokémon with familiar Pokémon from across the franchise. The official M3 page highlights Pokémon and characters connected to Miare City, including Clefairy, Mawile and Dedenne, while also featuring Pokémon such as Decidueye from Alola.

This gives the set a broad collecting appeal rather than restricting it to one generation.

Miare City-Themed Cards

One of the interesting visual themes in M3 is Miare City.

The official Pokémon Card Game website highlights cards featuring Miare City itself as well as characters including Taragon and Pyure. These cards give the expansion a connection to the Pokémon world associated with the Kalos region.

The inclusion of Miare City also gives M3 a distinct visual identity compared with the earlier Mega Evolution expansions.

Useful Trainer and Item Cards

Munikis Zero isn’t exclusively focused on collectible Mega Pokémon.

The expansion includes Trainer and Item cards designed to support gameplay. One example is Poké Pad, which was reprinted in M3 and allows a player to search the deck for a Pokémon without a Rule Box and add it to their hand.

There are also new cards designed specifically to complement Mega Zygarde ex and other Fighting-type strategies.

30 Japanese Booster Packs

A sealed M3 Munikis Zero booster box contains:

• 30 Japanese booster packs

• 5 cards per pack

• 150 cards per box

The official Pokémon Card Game website confirms that the Japanese packs contain five randomly inserted cards and were released on January 23, 2026.

Because the cards are randomly inserted, a sealed box does not guarantee Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Starmie ex, Mega Pixie ex, a particular SAR, AR or any other individual card.

The M3 Card Pool

Munikis Zero contains an 80-card numbered main set, with additional higher-rarity cards bringing the complete collectible card pool to 117 cards.

The expanded card pool gives collectors several rarity levels to pursue beyond the regular cards.

Among the higher-rarity highlights are Mega Evolution Pokémon and illustrated versions of popular Pokémon from the expansion.
