Pokémon VMAX Climax S8b Japanese Booster Box | Sword & Shield

The Pokémon VMAX Climax S8b Japanese Booster Box is a special Sword & Shield-era High Class Pack released in Japan in December 2021. Unlike a standard expansion, VMAX Climax brings together a large selection of Pokémon V and VMAX cards alongside the highly collectible Character Rare and Character Super Rare cards that made this release particularly popular with collectors.

Each sealed Japanese box contains 10 booster packs, and every pack contains 11 cards. The Japanese configuration also includes guaranteed elements such as a Holofoil Energy and additional hit opportunities, making individual pack openings more substantial than a typical Japanese booster pack.

A Sword & Shield Collector Favorite

VMAX Climax is built around Pokémon and Trainers appearing together in distinctive artwork. The set includes Character Rare and Character Super Rare cards, while also bringing back popular Pokémon from earlier Sword & Shield releases.

Collectors can find popular Pokémon including Charizard, Pikachu, Mew, Rayquaza and the Eeveelutions, alongside a broad selection of V and VMAX cards.

Japanese High Class Pack

The S8b designation identifies the Japanese VMAX Climax release. It was released in Japan on December 3, 2021, as the eighth Japanese subset of the Sword & Shield era. The set contains 285 cards, including its main cards, Character Rares and higher-rarity cards.

The Japanese presentation is an important part of this product. The cards and original packaging are in Japanese, making this box a strong choice for collectors specifically building Japanese Pokémon TCG collections.
